Coach Tommy T. Strong
Coach Strong has spent 27+ years on both sides of the recruiting table — as the coach evaluating athletes and as the advocate sitting next to the family reading the offer. That view is the whole advantage: he knows what a staff is really deciding while a household is still waiting on a phone call.
His approach is protection-first. Athletes and families get the truth about where they stand, what a commitment costs and which promises hold up, before anyone signs anything.
He founded Ocular Sports in Atlanta in 1998 and later launched Ocular Enterprise, extending the same strategy work into business and media. He is the author of The Formula: Mastering the Recruiting Chessboard.

Questions Families Always Ask
My kid is good. Won't colleges just find him?
No. That is the single most expensive myth in recruiting. Coaches evaluate who lands in front of them, in the format they trust, at the time of year they are actually looking. Talent gets you considered. Strategy gets you recruited.
When should we start?
Earlier than most families think, and it is almost never too late. Sophomores and juniors have the most room to shape their board. Seniors and portal athletes need a faster, sharper plan — that is exactly what the assessment sorts out.
What does this cost?
The book is $9.99 on Kindle. The recruiting assessment is free. One-on-one work is priced after we talk, because a sophomore with time and a portal athlete with a deadline need very different things and I am not going to quote you before I know which one you are.
Do you only work with football?
Football is the bulk of the work, but 27 years has covered multiple sports, including athletes who reached the NBA and nationally ranked tennis players. The chessboard is the same; the pieces move differently.
What if we already have a highlight reel?
Bring it. Most of the reels I review lose the coach in the first ten seconds — logo intros, music, the best play buried at minute two. Fixing that alone has changed how many schools called back.
